Why pride?

I see it every year. People always ask "Why do 'The Gays' get a whole month of celebration? What about 'straight pride'?" Well, it's because of people just like that. Pride is a celebration of being who you are, no matter what. There are people in this world who don't believe that you should be able to love who you want because they think their personal beliefs are more important than the happiness of others. There are people in this world who think that all those who love no matter what should die just because they're different.

Pride is a celebration of being yourself.
